Talk to Me

I’ve owned a cell phone for as long as they’ve been available for the public to own. I have two major complaints about how cell phones have been designed throughout the years. For one thing the buttons are always too small and the other thing is the speaker is never loud enough. It seems they only design cell phones with the young people in mind. Well finally somebody has gotten smart and designed a cellphone with large buttons and a loud speaker.

I found this new cell phone while I was surfing the web. It is just what I’ve been looking for. I’m not interested in sending text messages or picture messages; I just want an amplified cellphone that has big buttons so I can dial it easily. I have totally changed the way I do business since cell phones came on the market but they have always been somewhat annoying because the poor design of the buttons being so small.

The advertisement said it is a cellphone for elderly people but I am far from being elderly; I just don’t like the tiny little buttons most cell phones have and I really hate having to ask people to repeat themselves while I’m trying to have a conversation.

So I ordered the new cell phone and will get it activated as soon as it comes in. I was told it is compatible with any cell phone company plus I called my provider to make sure I would be able to use it. I don’t know why it took so long for somebody to design a cellphone with large buttons and a louder speaker. This item will sell well to a whole different demographic of people who don’t want to use their phone for anything except make calls and get calls.

Can you Hear me Now?

I was contemplating different gifts for parents who already have everything they could ever need when I came across the greatest thing; a cell phone that was designed and manufactured with the elderly in mind.

The problem with regular cell phones is the buttons are so small and the volume is too low. My parents are in their 80s and have a great deal of trouble hearing and seeing. The cell phone they had was almost useless for them because they just couldn’t see the buttons or hear what anybody was saying. I got them a cellphone with large buttons that are easy to see and push. It has a very loud speaker, both for the ringer and for the ear piece.

It’s about time somebody made a cellphone for elderly people; for too many years they were left out of the market. My parents both still drive so I felt it was very important that they have a cell phone that is easy and actually useful for them to use. They shouldn’t have to strain their eyes and ears to be able to reach somebody should they need us. This was probably one of the best gifts I could have given my parents and I really hope they keep making these phones with the elderly in mind.

My father called me the other day from his new cell phone. He said he could hear me great through the earpiece; I don’t know why more companies couldn’t design an amplified cellphone like the one I got my parents. I think the major cell phone companies really dropped the ball on this one. They are always catering to the young people in society and completely forgot about all of us who only want a phone that makes and receives calls effortlessly.
