Just5 Over Snapfon: Learn Which Between The Two Is The Trusted Brand

The Senior Coalition has recently urged seniors to stop viewing cell phones as an immaterial luxury but as a device that can be used to call for help in times of emergency. Cell phones can certainly serve as a wireless lifeline to the seniors but the fact that this device are commonly presented in a very elaborate way always discourage most of the older adults to own one. Because of this, phone makers seize the opportunity to produce simpler phones to avoid intimidating the tech-weary.

Some of the popular manufacturers of simpler phones are the Just5 and Snapfon. Both of these manufacturers have released phone models that pride their large screens, large buttons, and emergency buttons that are intentionally designed for seniors but can also be beneficial to younger technophobes.

At one look, all of the produced models of the two manufacturers look appealing to the eyes. Both of their promised features are functional that even the most tech-weary seniors will not hesitate to own one. Both of Just5 and Snapfon manufacturers are credited for providing the seniors with an easier and secured life through the practical phones they craft.

However, a number of people can hardly deny the many similarities of the phone models that are produced by the two brands—from their looks to their features. Both of the manufacturers feature enlarged number keypads that are easy to see and emergency S.O.S button that provide the user with the means to call for help in case of an urgent situation. Because of this, some buyers cannot help not to doubt as to which between the two brands is more able to provide a quality product.

This query can be clarified by the fact that Snapfon only serves as the raw copy of the Just5 phone. In fact, Just5 phone is an award winning brand. Some of the awards it has attained are the 2009 brand of the year, 2010 red-dot design award and 2010 product design award. Unfortunately, Snapfon has not achieved any award yet that will guarantee their consumers to make a wise buy by getting their offered phone models. In addition to this, Just5 phone is a widely known brand in Europe and works with the biggest carriers the continent. Just5 phone is also certified to work with carriers in United States of America and is certified by PTCRB. Snapfon on the other hand does not have this credential.

When it comes to the physical features of the phone models, the creations of Just5 phone outstand as compared to the ones produced by Snapfon. Even though the designs of the phone models of both brands do not vary a lot, it is notable that Just5 phone offers more colors to choose from to match the sense of fashion of the buyer.

The aforementioned statements might sound bias but those only supported the truth that Just5 phone is more able to fulfill their consumers as compared to other competitors such as Snapfon. Hence, it is more practical for seniors who are keen to the quality of phone they wish to hold to choose the offered models of the trusted brand—no other than Just5 phone. If you doubt, feel free to check out the sites of the two brands and you will see that all of these claims are true.

Talk to Me

I’ve owned a cell phone for as long as they’ve been available for the public to own. I have two major complaints about how cell phones have been designed throughout the years. For one thing the buttons are always too small and the other thing is the speaker is never loud enough. It seems they only design cell phones with the young people in mind. Well finally somebody has gotten smart and designed a cellphone with large buttons and a loud speaker.

I found this new cell phone while I was surfing the web. It is just what I’ve been looking for. I’m not interested in sending text messages or picture messages; I just want an amplified cellphone that has big buttons so I can dial it easily. I have totally changed the way I do business since cell phones came on the market but they have always been somewhat annoying because the poor design of the buttons being so small.

The advertisement said it is a cellphone for elderly people but I am far from being elderly; I just don’t like the tiny little buttons most cell phones have and I really hate having to ask people to repeat themselves while I’m trying to have a conversation.

So I ordered the new cell phone and will get it activated as soon as it comes in. I was told it is compatible with any cell phone company plus I called my provider to make sure I would be able to use it. I don’t know why it took so long for somebody to design a cellphone with large buttons and a louder speaker. This item will sell well to a whole different demographic of people who don’t want to use their phone for anything except make calls and get calls.

Can you Hear me Now?

I was contemplating different gifts for parents who already have everything they could ever need when I came across the greatest thing; a cell phone that was designed and manufactured with the elderly in mind.

The problem with regular cell phones is the buttons are so small and the volume is too low. My parents are in their 80s and have a great deal of trouble hearing and seeing. The cell phone they had was almost useless for them because they just couldn’t see the buttons or hear what anybody was saying. I got them a cellphone with large buttons that are easy to see and push. It has a very loud speaker, both for the ringer and for the ear piece.

It’s about time somebody made a cellphone for elderly people; for too many years they were left out of the market. My parents both still drive so I felt it was very important that they have a cell phone that is easy and actually useful for them to use. They shouldn’t have to strain their eyes and ears to be able to reach somebody should they need us. This was probably one of the best gifts I could have given my parents and I really hope they keep making these phones with the elderly in mind.

My father called me the other day from his new cell phone. He said he could hear me great through the earpiece; I don’t know why more companies couldn’t design an amplified cellphone like the one I got my parents. I think the major cell phone companies really dropped the ball on this one. They are always catering to the young people in society and completely forgot about all of us who only want a phone that makes and receives calls effortlessly.
